Is it only Honda dirt bikes that don't like to start in hot weather?

i have a 1988 Honda XR200R and my buddy has a 2007 Honda CRF150R and they both are really hard to start in hot weather when or when they are really warm from being ran. i swear i kicked mine over 20 times last week and my buddy's took more kicks than mine. is it only Honda's that do this or other brands too? there is nothing wrong with our bikes because i heard many other Honda owners have the same problem. Is it only Honda dirt bikes that don't like to start in hot weather?I race a honda CRF 250. Something I learned that works when i can't get it to start is this:

1.) Kick it 3 times with the choke OFF.

2.) Kick it 5 times with choke on.

3.)Turn the choke off again and it should start with 1-3 kicks. Is it only Honda dirt bikes that don't like to start in hot weather?
Why do you think the Hot Start switch was invented? Its not just Honda...Is it only Honda dirt bikes that don't like to start in hot weather?Eh...their generators don't like the heat either. ???Is it only Honda dirt bikes that don't like to start in hot weather?
if that engine is hot and you flood it out....your going to be there a while i had an XR650R that if it got flooded you were going to be kicking for a long while

but all bikes are like that when they are hot seems to be with 4 strokes mostly my 2 stroke bikes never had any issues not wanting to start after being ran hard

like was said use the hot start leverIs it only Honda dirt bikes that don't like to start in hot weather? You don't need the choke in hot weather.

Dude I don't know if that helps but yeah
