Is the 2001 Honda Civic 2dr LX considered a sports car?

I am gonna be getting a car soon and the car i always wanted was the 2001 Honda Civic 2dr Lx and my dad is giving me loads of crap about it 2dr cars. It is possible insurance might be higher if it's a coupe. A 2dr car is a coupe, not a sports car. Why have you wanted an LX? EX is the better model and shouldn't be too hard to find since Hondas are so common. I had a '02 Civic EX coupe, and it was very nice.
