Why is my Honda hard to start up when the engine is cold? How can I fix this? I think its something with fuel.

I have a Honda Civic SI [B16A2 Engine]Why is my Honda hard to start up when the engine is cold? How can I fix this? I think its something with fuel.Well if you think it's something with the fuel, I hope that your putting in premium gas, honda recommends it. Without having any info on parts that you have replaced I would have to say to do a complete tune-up. Spark plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor. Also like I said before you should be using premium gas, I know people will tell you otherwise but I had a 2000 SI, and the ONE and ONLY time I put in 87 octane my car ran terrible, it's a must for any DOHC Vtec. Good luck! Why is my Honda hard to start up when the engine is cold? How can I fix this? I think its something with fuel.Caberators suck. I reakon check your fuel pump, or caberator.

Try using a high octane fuel, such as premium petrol helps to make starting a cold engine easier too.Why is my Honda hard to start up when the engine is cold? How can I fix this? I think its something with fuel.Tune ups go a long way with honda. It is a Si so its fuel injected.

Check the timing and change the plugs. Why is my Honda hard to start up when the engine is cold? How can I fix this? I think its something with fuel.
no need to do a complete tune up waste of money just buy a more crakin amp battery at any auto part store and that will fix your problem this question you will see it alot at yahoo anwers people asking about there autos hard to start in cold time. and if you hear noises in your engine its couse there no oil on the valves and lifter take about 10 minutes for the oil to flow all around the motor
