I have a craftsman lawnmower with a Honda 6.5hp. All I can find on top where you pull the rope on the plastic housing is this : Honda engine in the family 3HNXS 1871AK.

look for Honda sticker with G Starting in the number that WILL be the model number will be on top in full view.
