What is the best exhaust system and manifold to put on a 1990 Honda CRX VT?

I'd like to totaly replace my stock manifold and exhaust system on my 90' CRX VT with a performance manifold and straight through (no cat converter) exhaust. Can anyone recomend the best brands for use with Honda B16A1 engines and performance gains?



I dont really care about the noise or legalitys either, just freeing up some extra power.



Also whats the best set up for a manifold? 4-2-1?

Go with either skunk 2 or buddy club maybe even DC. The buddy club will cost a bit more but the work is awsome and good power gains.



If your looking for a straight pipe system then your gonna need a race header. With out a race header you just add more turbulance with the pipe you would add to your shorty header.



I also would recommend that you use the same brand exhaust or custom make one at your local shop. As for muffler use a straight through, If you get a oval or square one it will make all that work usless.

some may not agree, but I'd say check out ANSA. It's sweet stuff. There isnt really one better from the other. My suggestion to you would be not to buy something for the name. Just try to go for something different. Make the sound of it different from all the rest! well if u want power and dont care about laws go with a mufler and for in take go short ram also go bigger throthel and injectors if u whant power if u need more help let me know
