Is it worth buying an exhaust kit for Honda Accord?

I want to buy one for Honda Accord V6. Should I get Borla, flowmaster, or magnaflow or any other kit for less than $900. I want to make my car sound very loud. What about glasspacks? Do they last long?Is it worth buying an exhaust kit for Honda Accord?Namaste.

I have an 03 Accord v6 with a Greddy Evo2 exhaust system on it..and its awsome!! You'll love the sound. Its not too loud like a rice rocket, and sound like a G35. It's the loudest at 3-4 rpms, and at that range it will set off alarms in a parking garage, other than that its great!

Personally Borla, Flowmaster, Magnaflow is not my taste...it's too american and not really for imports...now that's my personal opinion. I also put in an AEM V2 intake the same day I bolted on the exhaust. Those two combo works great, imediate horsepower and torque. Not to mention I'm getting 30more miles per full tank.

I don't know what else you have done to your car, but dont be a cheap Desi and just get the exhaust for the sound..or to look cool. the intake and headers as well. I don't know how many people who have answered before me actually own a v6 accord..let alone have any epxerience at moding one...so think twice on their advice bro.

Also, I hope you not doing this just for sound, and sound only!! Then your just a poser, and i'll be the first to laugh. If you want pure performance, then you take out the catalyc converter and resonator...and do a straight piping from your headers..all the way back to the rear. You'll get ticketed right away, cuz its illegal and you wont pass smog test. It's VERY loud..but it will be pure power. Also dont get some cheap load exhaust..thats all sound and no go....lame....

good luckIs it worth buying an exhaust kit for Honda Accord?
They last forever. Is it worth buying an exhaust kit for Honda Accord?put a hole in your muffler

it'll sound louder..and doesn't cost you anything

accept the tickets for an inadequate muffler
hey bro i dont like that type of cars... but never the less u asked the question umm so ima give u my advise... id go with magnaflow... its reliable most of the time... just do a little more research than asking people here onlineIs it worth buying an exhaust kit for Honda Accord?bro you own a honda. people are gunna laugh at you. my mom owns your car. dont put exhausts on it , it will just song loud annoying. not loud powerful , like an american muscle car. now my friend has a 67 sting ray corvette , now fell free to put exhausts on that kinda car.Is it worth buying an exhaust kit for Honda Accord?
another kid who thinks they can put a loud muffler and think they are vin diesal. lol seriously i would go with a cherry bomb. but just cause your car is loud doesnt mean your vin diesal in the fast and the furious
You should get Magnaflow they are the best quality under $900 or spend a little more and get a Borla or Comptech kit.Is it worth buying an exhaust kit for Honda Accord?
ur gonna go to my list of "loud annoying and slow" accords
Get the Greddy exhaust. It has a deep throaty sound and as far as quality goes they are at the top of the list.
look i don't know you and i don't like those people who answer your question wrong. it is an Accord and if you put a turbo or supercharge it will work good and increase your Accord hp or if you don't want to spend that much get an cold air intake and it should sound good with the exhaust you chose but i will say get the Catback for your exhaust it has a similar ability like your stock exhaust but with my hp so your engine can breath better or you can get the AEM V2. its also better with your V6 accord. good luck and i hope I'm not a downer like those other people.
If you just want loud, then why not just take out your whole exhuast? You'll be loud as hell and people will be diving for cover as you drive by. However if you want to do something tasteful, then i would definitly get the GReddy Evo 2. I have the V6 Manual with the AEM V3 intake and the exhaust and it's a very noticable difference in comparison with stock. It's not that loud and like the poster above said, it sounds like a G35 which has that deep throaty purr which is better then offensively deafning. The problem with our car is the that airflow is very constricted from the header out because our cat convertor requires high heat to work properly. (A honda engineer told me) We also have a problem with the design of our engine block where we are not easily able to put a turbo in there without any major expensive modification. But i did hear that a supercharger may work. I hope that helps, good luck
Only if you lower your car and if it's a manual transmission. On automatics its no point.
