I have a Honda Activa Headlight Bulb ( 35 Watt ) but i dont know the voltage required. So if i connect it to the power supply at my home, will it glow or will it trip d breakers?Can i connect a 35 watt Honda Activa Headlight Bulb directly to power supply?Car headlights run on the car's 12 volt system. You'll burn out the bulb if you try to connect it directly to to your house wiring. You might trip the breaker at the same time.
DonCan i connect a 35 watt Honda Activa Headlight Bulb directly to power supply?Yes, but the current your power supply can provide is important.
The car battery is 12 volts, so that's the voltage you want.
Actually, with the car running, it's higher, but lets stick with 12 volts.
If the bulb is 35 watts at 12 volts the current drawn is about 3 amps.
I = W / E
Current = Wattage / Volts
If your power supply can not provide 3 amps at 12 volts, the breaker should trip or fuse blow.
