A raclette is a grill but the traditional cheese you use with it is also called 'raclette'. Lidls were selling it just before Christmas, but don't know if they still do.

However, you can buy it online from French Click:

If you live in Gloucestershire, the Cheeseworks in Cheltenham sell it:

You may be able to buy it online from them if you ask.Where in the UK may I obtain Raclette cheese?
a good delhi or a really good supermarket such as waitrose and if you live in london then threes all ways Harrods or fortnum and maisons and yes it is a cheese and i have eaten it loads of times in switzerland it is simply baked in its box that it comes in and toasted by the fireWhere in the UK may I obtain Raclette cheese?
Hello choock. Raclette is the cooking system, not the cheese. Show some Emmentaler, or Gruyere cheese the fire, then scrape it off as it melts, onto toasted French style bread. That's it. Simple, ok? Good luck! Works well with Camembert too.
It's quite a speciality cheese so is not readily available in the supermarkets. You can buy it online, see link.
