Please define the difference between raclette and fondue--I know both involve melted cheese and an audience?

...and both also involve going to Switzerland. Help me, sportsfans? Please define the difference between raclette and fondue--I know both involve melted cheese and an audience?
Raclette is merely sliced cheese that is roasted near a heat source...fire, burner, until bubbly, then poured OVER foods, like potatoes. YUM! It is made ONLY with raclette cheese. Double YUM.

Fondue is usually dipped, and usually contains additional ingredients...kirschwasser, wine, etc. Please define the difference between raclette and fondue--I know both involve melted cheese and an audience?
raclette is either a cheese or a device to melt cheese, then you put it on your plate and put your food in it

fondue is a simmering pot of cheese, broth, chocolate, wine, or even oil that you put food in to coat or cook them.
