The B18C5 out of a 1998+ Acura Integra Type-R. It has precision balanced connecting rods and crankshaft along with machine polshied intake ports and valves. It also has stiffer return springs and stronger retaining clips. The transmission has a closer ratio than its predicessor (96-97 spec ITR) and has a limited slip differential. The only problem is the cost of the enigne swap kit, and having the swap proffesionally done. But you wanted to know whats best so I told you. What is the best and fastest engine for a 95 4 door honda civic? The fastest would be the Type-R motor the B16b.... 180 hp
I would reccomend the B16A SiR II..... I have it in my car and its faster than the american v-tec motors @ 170 hp stock.......

Complete swap for 2200, reputable company
Btw Phillip is right, the b18c5 is a really badass motor but plan on spending about 5500 as opposed to 2200.... 5500 is a little out of my price rangeWhat is the best and fastest engine for a 95 4 door honda civic?
B20 motor out of a honda CR-V with a B16 head. I believe the term for this kind of motor is "Frankenstein"What is the best and fastest engine for a 95 4 door honda civic? The best would be a K20 From a RSX or CIVIC
But if you're looking for a B series engine,
