also swap pulleys for lighter ones. What are some bolt-on horsepower improvements i can make to my Honda?
You can add some racing stripes, a big fat noisy muffler and make it go real fast. Seriously, there isn't much the average guy can do to improve the performance of a car designed by professional engineers without radically changing major components. Even if you do this, you risk overstressing other components in the car. For example, the transmissions in that year V6 were weak and poorly designed - most fail around 50k miles. Honda cars are really not designed as 'performance' vehicles and racing around in them tends to drastically reduce their service life. Leave it alone and drive it the way it is, or go buy a real performance car if you think you need it.What are some bolt-on horsepower improvements i can make to my Honda?Cheap Mods = intake (you already have), headers, %26amp; performance exhaust (not just the muffler tip, the complete exhaust system)What are some bolt-on horsepower improvements i can make to my Honda?
Nitrous oxide is the cheapest and easiest instant power booster. But the down side is - too much nitrous and other parts cant handle it (fuel pressure regulators, headgaskets) .But "dry nitrous kits are easy to install and work cosistently - just dont keep giving your engine a larger shot . Use some restraint 25 or 50 shot at most.
Supercharging and turbocharging affect your engine anytime its running but nitrous only affects it when its on and flowing. What are some bolt-on horsepower improvements i can make to my Honda?Don't have any idea besides what has already been said as to how to increase HP.
What about removing dead weight ie alloy wheels instead of steel. What are some bolt-on horsepower improvements i can make to my Honda?
Hmm, you already have the cold air intake.......... You could always get the biggest muffler tip in the history of mankind?
Of course that won't help performance at all, there isn't really a cheap and easy way to add power to a Honda without turbo charging or NO$ing it, contrary to common belief, almost all of the bolt on power adders are a scam to make a car look / sound "Fast and Furious" without adding any ponies.
Sorry dude you have to do a LOT of research and a LOT of work before you're going to get any serious power out of it.
But sometimes it's fun to pretend and just bolt parts on for the fun of it, just make sure you realise what you're doing.
