A wiring harness is the life off the vehicle, it goes every light, and switch, every button knob or toggtle switch you press or flip that tells the car what do do. There are some extreme high performanc engines you can buy that together with the right mechanic can be tuned to be the hottest honda in town.How much would it cost to put in a engine/transmissiong in a 03 honda civic.?Unless you are mechanically capable of doing all that yourself, that "cheap" car could get very very expensive fast.



Count on spending at least $500 on just the labor to install the engine and transmission, it could be more. Then add the cost of the motor and transmission, maybe another $1500. If that car is also missing the wiring harness, which connects the motor and sensors to the battery, fuse box, alternator and computer, you can be in a world of hurt.



Just walk away from that car.
