How much does it cost to change 2006 honda civic lx rear drum bakes to disk brakes ?

I have a 2006 Honda Civic LX and I wanted to know how much it would cost to take of my rear drum brakes and replace them with disk brakes. Is it expensive parts wise ? Or do you pay more for labor? How much total? How much does it cost to change 2006 honda civic lx rear drum bakes to disk brakes ?what you're talking about is going to cost a lot of cash. for this particular job, the labor costs are going to be through the roof considering the amount of fabrication involved in mounting the rotors, calipers, etc and actually making them function. you'll probably end up spending over $2000 or more, and it's not worth the cash.

seriously, your rear brakes only do about 20% of your stopping. your car has drums in the rear for this very reason, it's not a big deal. save your cash. How much does it cost to change 2006 honda civic lx rear drum bakes to disk brakes ?If you car has rear drums brakes, its mostly because you do not have a powerful engine, therefore not need for them, to make this worst, when you go forward and brake your car, 80% or more of the braking power is needed at FRONT, not rear.

If you have not made SEVERAL real mods to your engine its not worth at all to spend like $2000 - $3000 USD for good kit.How much does it cost to change 2006 honda civic lx rear drum bakes to disk brakes ?Try the auto recyclers %26amp; dismantlers at http://www.ahparts.com - this is a good source to find prices. How much does it cost to change 2006 honda civic lx rear drum bakes to disk brakes ?

Or Wilwood brand offers rear disc brakes kit $800-1000. Labor should be $300-500 where are you located?
