How do I install a fender eliminator kit on my 2006 Honda CBR 1000 RR?

I need to know what screws/bolts to take out to remove the mud flap (stock fender) so that I can install a aftermarket fender eliminator kit. I called the Honda dealer, and they said that they would charge $199.00 just to install it and that it takes 2-3 hours for the pros to do it! Surely it can't be this hard!! You have to cut off the license plate bracket.

If you can read and follow directions, use a ratchet %26amp; screw driver and cut plastic with a hack saw "blade", then the installation won't be that difficult.
