Has anyone else switched to ceramic brake pads on their Honda?

My 2004 Accord had smooth braking until I put on ceramic brake pads last year as recommended by my mechanic. Since then, there has been a terrible grinding and vibration. The rotors, which were new a year ago were recently turned, and the rear shoes were inspected and found to be in good shape. After driving on the ceramics for about 24,000 miles, yesterday, I went back to a new Honda pads. Has anybody else had this experience? Any success with ceramics?Has anyone else switched to ceramic brake pads on their Honda?Ceramic is the friction material on the factory pads for late-model Honda's. You should only use Ceramic pads on these vehicles, which means the fact that they are ceramic pads is not your problem.Has anyone else switched to ceramic brake pads on their Honda?I know that ceramic pads tend to squeal like mad on some cars but definitely go with what the car manufacturer says to put on it.Has anyone else switched to ceramic brake pads on their Honda?I could be wrong but the original honda pads on that are ceramic. Ceramic pads are louder but give off less brake dust and they disipate heat better.
