The blower motor in my 2003 Honda Civic will run for a few seconds then shut down, any ideas?

Honda Civic 2003 blower motor will run for a few seconds then will shut off until the key is cycled on/off. During those few seconds the fan will only run at one speed (there are about 8 positions). If the only fan speed that works is the highest then that is your problem. Replacing that resistor will solve your problem. If its still under warranty it shouldn't cost you anything.
